My Story

How I got into this profession…. It started when I was 15 years old I got my first Saturday job in a bridal shop called Clifford Burr (if you are looking for an amazing dress and personal shopping experience I would highly recommend). I absolutely LOVED my job, whilst working as a Saturday girl I decided I wanted to become a hairdresser as I knew I had a natural flare for it. Once I qualified as a hairdresser I realised my passion was for styling hair, I won many competitions including best hair of the year at my college.  
I started to work full time at the bridal shop offering everything from menswear, bridesmaids and bridal gowns this is when I realised my hairdressing skills can go hand in hand with the wedding industry and that is when I started Wonderful Wedding Hair back in 2014.

My brides praise me not only on my hair styling but the dress service I offer which includes lacing up corsets, putting on peti coats, popping buttons, sorting the bustle etc. If this is a service you would like we can discuss at your hair trial. 

I make sure I am with my bride and the bridal party from the moment the preparation starts until the finishing touches are done. It warms my heart seeing my bride glowing ready to walk down the aisle to say “ I DO”.
